From CMC 007:
As some of you may already know,
the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers will be the guest riding club at
Clare's Bike Night being held on Thursday, August the 11th at Clare's
Harley Davidson in Niagara On The Lake. We will be escorting the Y108
Rock Patrol from Hamilton to Clare's that evening. We will be staging
at the 007's usual staging area, which is the Tim Hortons located at Mud
& #20 around 5:30pm with KSU @ 6:00pm. Now the Bike Night starts
at 6pm, but Lisa from Clare's (marketing/advertising) suggests that by
escorting Y108 in after it has started would make for a cool entrance.
The plan is to head right down Centennial to the Q.E.W. and take that
down and exit by Niagara On The Lake, traveling in the slow lane the
whole way at around 100 kph. All are welcome to join us for the escort.
Starting August 8th, Y108 will be plugging this event on air. There
will be door prizes, food, and a 50/50 draw, with the proceeds from the
draw going to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Hope to see lots
of Madisons that evening |

It is with deep regret that I have accepted the resignation of 2nd officer Mike Brice. Mike has not only resigned from the position of 2nd officer, he has resigned from the group. Mike has told me that it is time to move on and do other things, and I wish him well in his endeavours. Chris Hall 1st Officer CMC015 Crystal Beach |

You are invited to a potluck dinner on December 14, 2010 starting at 6:30pm.
This favourite annual event warms the heart and the stomach - a necessity for a club of over-eaters with a riding disorder! Come on out to the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 230 in Ridgeway for our potluck Christmas event. Email invitations were sent to all chapter members. Please click the appropriate Yes/No/Maybe button in the email you received and include any notes you'd like us to see, or contact 2nd Officer, Mike Brice directly. Check out the event on our calendar.

Many of us are still out riding, albeit dressed in layers. We're going to peel off a couple of layers and hope to meet up for a ride this Saturday with everyone who hasn't winterized their scoot yet. See 4th Officer, Bernie MacNeil's post on the forum and let him know you're interested. Time and place to meet will be updated on the forum. Send Mac an email if you're not registered on the forum (then get yourself registered!). Mac's contact information can be found on the Contact Us, and Officers pages. |

Hackers have targeted canadianmotorcyclecruisers.ca and exploited a security vulnerability in the site's unpatched photo upload facility. All should work out fine, but don't be surprised if the site isn't there when you try to visit. Take a ride, have a snack, something to fill your time before you give it another go. The software may have to be taken offline from time to time to install upgrades and restore backups.
